In the context of the current state of photography, I would say I am a throwback. There’s more to it though. I am one of a generation of artists caught between my training in analog craft, and living comfortably in the digital age.
I try to limit myself to using what equipment I knew before the rise of practical digital photography, but blend it with the convenience and advantages of the digital darkroom. save color correction, I try not to interfere digitally with what happened the moment I captured the image.
